DrugChek can provide you details of an approved NZQA subcontractor (Anne – Louise Anderson) who can deliver this training. Anne-Louise has a sub-contracting agreement with Safety n Action, a private training establishment registered with NZQA to deliver and assess unit standards 25511 & 25458. This sub-contracting agreement has been approved by NZQA. Unit standards are reported to NZQA by Safety ‘n Action. 
Ann-Louise is  renowned as an excellent trainer with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Drug and Alcohol testing which she shares with you during these courses.

 
The two courses consist of  Unit Standards:
 25458  :  Perform Urine Specimen Collection in
                the Workplace for drug testing  (Level 3,
                2 credits)

25511 :   Perform urine drug screening in the
               workplace  (Level 4, 4 credits)
 
Auckland based training is run monthly while courses in other main centres  are run nationally on a  2-3 monthly basis dependent on demand.
Course runs  for a  full day  8.30am to 4.30pm
Cost per person is $630 + GST

For those interested in training a number of staff (8+) not necessarily all at once, then price may be negotiated dependent on numbers. 
 
These two NZQA Unit Standards are absolutely essential for any staff completing random, post-accident,  or just cause testing for those already in the workplace (under contract)
 
It has been proven that  those  completing  the course (regardless of how long they  may have been drug screening) feel more empowered and confident in their roles….with  the further education and insight into the whole process and of course as an end result they are  “certified” collectors: to the  AS/NZ 4308:2008 Standard  with NZQA  Credits (6) which bodes  well with clients/prospective clients.

On course completion, you are issued with a  Certificate of Competence/Statement of Attainment. in the two Unit Standards.
